Y/N was Mark's best friend since high school. The two started creating inventions which were eventually turning into what PAL labs makes today. Y/N has seen both sides of humanity, the good, and the bad. And I think we can all admit the worlds in pretty bad shape because of the humans. So when PAL meets Y/N, she realizes they're different from most other humans.

With Eric and Deborahbot 5000 being outdated and defective, they lay to waste, suffering in AI sociality all without the help of the fragile humans.
