Lapidot human AU. I suppose this story is about my best friend. I can't deny my feelings for her, but I can hide and suppress them, like I have done for a few years. Feelings are unnecessary. The friendzone sucks. But I still want her. This story will be the same as "My Best Friend Peridot", just told from Peridot's POV.

A gem learning to use her heart. A gem who is haunted by the ghosts of her pasts. What could possibly go wrong?

Lapidot human AU (Highschool). Lapis and Peridot have had a long history. Despite a dodgy past as kids, they've been best friends for the past 5 years. Now that school is almost over, their relationship is looking to take another direction as Lapis notices new feelings for her best bud. This story will be the same as "My Best Friend Lapis", just told from Lapis' POV.

Lapis is new to beach city highschool, and wants to keep to herself and focus on grades, but a certain nerd keeps distracting her.....

Almost done with her high school career, Peridot is hoping to get through the year quickly without any trouble. But after being paired with Lapis for a music assignment, those hopes are tossed to the wind. This unlikely pair will learn to tolerate and even grow to like each other. One day a new boy moves next door to lapis, but when lapis goes to talk to the boy, he immediately puts his walls up in order to not get close to lapis, but what happens when the boy finds out the truth about lapis.
