The next Choosing Ceremony is rapidly approaching, and the entirety of Chicago are preparing for the upcoming event. She has to sacrifice the things that she already knows and does for the sake of the people she loves, as well as stumbling upon the biggest dilemma she's had to face yet. After finding out she was living under the roof of a Death Eater, Carlie never returned home. Fourth year is difficult as Carlie tries to stick to the right side by joining Harry's secret classes while trying to hide their secret society from Umbridge and Draco Malfoy. Though when the time comes things don't turn out as planned for Carlie. Then her fifth year begins and things are darker than ever, with the return of Voldemort, everyone's life is at stake.

Scarlett Nyx didn't think life could get any better, or worse, for that matter.
