She gripped his arms as they caged her, keeping her from escaping. "I'd be damned if I let you slip through my fingers again." ~*~Summary~*~ Set after the events of Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. Rey is sent by General Organa on an important mission to infiltrate the First Order from within, feed helpful information to the General and bring Ben Solo home. In order for the mission to succeed, Rey has to do something she never imagined herself doing. Rey had the audacity to smirk at him, and she taunted, "You do not care for the sound of your own name." "I do not," he snapped. "Test me again, and it will be the last thing you do." "Your threats do not put fear inside of me." Rey shook her head, looking serene. That only enraged Kylo Ren more, and he pulled his hand up again. She used the Force to lower his hand, and he could scarcely fight through it. He grunted in aggravation and started to threaten her again, but she whispered, "Calm yourself. I'm not here to fight. I'm here to talk." He snorted with derisive laughter. "I have no wish to speak with you." Rey blinked. "Luke Skywalker sent me here to try to sway you back to the Light." "Did he?" Kylo Ren nodded and shrugged, feeling the material of his black tunic constrict uncomfortably around his shoulders. Luke Skywalker wanted to turn him back to the Light? That was rich. Kylo Ren quirked up half his mouth beneath his mask. "How unfortunate for him."
