( slow burn, no upside down/powers; elevens name is just el; takes place right after they became friends but that happened sooner in the summer; hopper is el's adoptive dad; her biological dad is martin brenner who's in prison for abusing her, and her mom isn't alive; there's confusion, angst, a little fluff, lowkey slowburn and excessive gay panic )

Richie and Eddie are 16 and have had feelings for each other for as long as they can remember but although the losers club all know about it and support them both without them having to tell them, they are too scared to tell anyone how they feel about each other, so they date in secret.
