She never asked to be a seer. She never asked to carry visions that tear pieces of her away each time she looks into the dark. But when Gandalf brings Maureen to Thorin Oakenshield, she finds herself bound to thirteen dwarves and one stubborn King who swears she is under his protection. From the gold-lit halls of Erebor to the shadowed forests of Mirkwood, Maureen walks a road filled with visions of blood, fire, and loss. Every glimpse into the future shows her the same unbearable truth: Thorin's death. Yet the closer she draws to him, the harder it becomes to let go. Thorin has weathered exile, fire, and battle-but nothing shakes him like the woman fate has placed in his path. She is fire and defiance, tenderness and steel, and though she insists her gift will one day destroy her, he refuses to surrender her to prophecy. Not to Azog, not to kings who would bargain for her, not even to the madness of his own gold-sickness. As kingdoms clash, armies gather, and dragon-fire burns, a bond forged between King and Seer may be the only thing strong enough to defy fate itself. But can love endure when prophecy demands sacrifice? A tale of destiny, devotion, and the fierce love that can turn the tide of war-Maureen and Thorin's story will break your heart and heal it, leaving you breathless until the last page.

Marked by the forest. Cursed by fire. Hunted by her own kind. Once, Laufey was a warrior of Mirkwood, a trusted guard of King Thranduil, fighting alongside her kin in a desperate war against the dragons of the North. But when victory demanded a terrible price, she sacrificed everything-her home, her people, and even her very nature-to bind a great and terrible power within herself. Branded with a sigil that sears her soul, she has spent years wandering the wilds, neither elf nor warrior, forever an outcast. When Gandalf the Grey offers her a place in an unlikely company of dwarves, Laufey intends to keep her distance. But the road to reclaim Erebor is paved with dangers both known and unknown, and despite her instincts, she finds herself drawn to the stubborn, brooding king who leads them. Thorin Oakenshield is everything she should distrust-proud, sharp-tongued, and full of hatred for elves. And yet, as the journey tests them both, their fates intertwine in ways neither of them could have foreseen. But secrets are not so easily buried, and the power Laufey carries within her is not so easily tamed. When old enemies rise and the fires of war are kindled once more, she will have to make a choice: to keep running from the monster she fears she has become-or to stand and fight, even if it means revealing the truth that could cost her everything.

"There are no gems finer than the stars." By the workings of the Istari, Marin was cast from her homeland, the first fairy in one thousand years to be cursed with a broken wing. Her hopes of touching the stars dimmed with each passing day as she walked the lonely paths of the Wild. Until, one hundred years after her Breaking, Gandalf the Grey offers her a chance to help guide thirteen dwarves through the dangers of Middle-Earth for the promise of rich reward. Follow Marin Nymaed on her journey through Middle-Earth, finding acceptance, friendships, and a love strong enough to break her curse. I do not own The Hobbit or any of J.R.R. Tolkien's works. I only own Marin and the fairy culture and language that I built for this story Cross-posted on AO3

The first story told to children is of a goddess born from the earth, a child of the sun, whose presence brought light, growth, and peace to the world. To some, she was a savior, a symbol of hope, while to others, she was a harbinger of destruction. Over time, her story became myth, fading from memory, except for a few who still remember. But when a great sorrow stirs the shadows, her forgotten truth is on the brink of being revealed, and you are about to uncover it. *Complete* A Lord of the Rings FanFiction A Daughters of Middle Earth Story Formerly Titled "Some Things are Meant to Endure" The only daughter of a King who had lost his Queen and the beloved younger sister of a Prince, Aeslin had grown up in the heart of the Woodland Realm. But given her mother's death in battle when she was but a young elfling, very little was more important to King Thranduil and his son Legolas than her safety. Not only had she never set foot beyond the borders of the Greenwood, she'd rarely left the confines of her Father's Court. For all that she was the most precious thing in the lives of her only family, Aeslin grew up the sad child of a dark forest. But with the Greenwood growing ever darker, Thranduil found himself with a hard choice before him. Fearing for the safety of his youngest child should she stay within the borders of a Kingdom coming to be known as 'Mirkwood', the Elven King made a decision that would change his daughter's life forever. Aeslin had always had a talent for healing, so he decided to send her to Rivendell to learn from Elrond as every great elven healer had done for centuries. There she learns not only the arts of healing, but finds another family, and indeed, eventually finds love. Follows Aeslin from before LotR through to the end of the films. The Hobbit Fanfiction Bofur x OC It was hard to imagine Bofur taking anything seriously. He was the optimistic one of the Company, the one always joking around, the one singing and dancing on tables to lighten the mood. That was why no one noticed his change of character when he met the joyful Periwinkle, the only female member in the Company. He went out of his way to make her smile and laugh, and no one found that out of the ordinary since, well, it was Bofur. And while he was keeping his joyful composure, there was a sliver of fear and grief that the lass would not return his feelings, since who would ever fall for an ordinary dwarf?
