Things don't seem to be going Lily's way. First Severus, then Petunia, and then James. James stupid Potter. The idiot who couldn't stop, no, wouldn't stop, until Lily agreed to go out with him. But she wouldn't. Never ever not never. Well, maybe she would... --- Now, for those of you who don't attend Hogwarts, and for those of you who don't know the Marauders, here are some rules you learn within days of being here: 1) Don't ever date Sirius Black, and expect an actual relationship. You will only receive hurt feelings. 2) Don't ever say that you are better at Quidditch than James Potter. Your life may be at stake. 3) Don't ever steal chocolate from Remus Lupin. He may or may not hit you with his latest textbook. 4) Don't ever insult any of Peter Pettigrew's friends. He will try (and fail) at threatening you. These rules are pinned up in our common room for all to see, and within days of being up, Sirius Black had jokingly added a fifth rule, which he called the 'most important'. 5)Don't ever try and date Lily Evans. That is for James only!!

Lily Evans is entering her final year at Hogwarts. As the outside world is attacked by Death Eaters, Lily's world changes left and right. Many things happen unexpectedly, like her sudden friendship with James Potter. Lily must stay strong to get through the year and make sure she stays focused, but Potter may make that a problem. At least she only thinks of him as a friend...right?

The year was 1977. The First Wizarding War was really heating up. Tensions are high and danger lurks around every corner. People are making efforts to bright spots in the darkness, but it becomes increasingly difficult as time marches on. The staff of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are trying their hardest to try to maintain the same air of pure magic, jovial nature, and light. Whether they are fully successful is up for debate. The staff this year, however, will have some help. Lily Evans is entering her seventh year. She's 17 and has a shining future ahead of her. She thinks that her biggest challenges of the year would be her rigorous classwork in preparation for her N.E.W.T. exams, keeping up with her Head Girl duties, and putting up with the Marauders; normal stuff. Little does she know, she couldn't have been more wrong.

In Lily's eyes, Potter was just another boy who is arrogant, annoying and rude. However, with a startling turn of events, she may find out that James Potter is more than he meets the eye.
