My views have changed since beginning this collection and it would be much appreciated if you, reader, would keep that in mind while reading. I don't like editing after I've written and most of this has remained untouched since publication. We all change though. These are feeling in moments of passion, not utter truth, and no, not brilliance despite what I've been told. I know otherwise. Do not fall fate to the trap of these words and think everything through before accepting any of someone else's opinion even if it sounds good and true the first time reading or hearing it. I am not perfect by far and I've made mistakes. ALWAYS keep this in mind. 2020 edit: I'm going on 22 now, and honestly I wish I had the spunk of when I was 17. Hot damn. Also I'm transgender and at the time of writing this, I hadn't come out or even found out that was possible so there's a lot of misgendering of myself that I'm editing. I don't edit usually but I'm sick of people calling me she in the comments. They or he please. 2022: they/them only now please. He/him pronouns are pissing me off lately.

16, almost 17 year old Harry is kicked out of his house by his mother after accidentally coming out to her in an argument. He is taken in by Jay Tomlinson, to stay with her family indefinitely, taking him off the hands of the church. Louis, Jay's 17, almost 18 year old son, is obnoxious and rude and seemingly uncaring of absolutely everything, at least at first. The Tomlinsons regularly have taken in charity cases like Harry, and Louis assumes he'll be no different from any of the other "poor, troubled kids", his mother's words. Just another dumb kid who'll be taking time away from his mum. Louis has great friends, the popularity most only dream of, and his best friend and girlfriend are one and the same. But something's still missing. The question is, what is it? Will anyone ever be able to unravel the punk boy slowly losing himself in his dark little world? ...................................................................................................................................... Prom has arrived at Ridgeway High and all the girls are buzzing about, desperate to get a date. Except one. Sam. Big surprise, right? Carly wants to go with Mr. Prom-King-Shoo-in-Himself, Dylan Cole. Of course she does. He's hot, popular, and every girl is after him. Just the type Carly would go for. Too bad he's more into blondes. Dylan asks out Sam and Carly goes on a rampage, words are said, and ends with Carly refusing to speak to the feisty blonde and vise versa. But Sam couldn't care less about prom, or so it seems. The dresses, the pounds and pounds of make up, the all-eyes-on-me situation, etcetera. she hates it all. So why would she say yes? Why would she steal her best friend's crush? She wouldn't dare, right? Even if it made a certain nerd jealous?.... Lots of drama and boy troubles, as well as broken prom-ises(haha, get it?) and broken hearts. Rated PG-13 for strong language because I refuse to make this one of those "replace the curse word with a moronic childlike term such as dingle" type of stories. 'Nuff said. The girls want Freddie to participate in a segment for iCarly that will basically be like a rip off on the show, What Not to Wear. He finally agrees but only if they each have a turn being the one being made over. Sam is pissed, but Carly agrees. Will someone start seeing someone else in new light? Sorry for the crappy summary; should be better than it sounds but I won't say it's good for fear of jinxing myself. PG-13.
