A sound erupted from the demon. Laughter? He pushed himself suddenly off of the table and away from my touch. He clutched his sides. His laugh was thick and rich, the sound of butterscotch rippling off of a spoon. I raised my eyes brows at him, a smile spreading across my face. I giggled behind my hand. His muscles twitched with his laughter, shadows twisting and dancing over his skin.
