The amount of points a person has can be seen above their head always. It only disappears once the soulmates have confronted the other. 17 year old Eijirou decided to finally spend his points after years of never truly trying to seek out his soulmate, but it comes with a great mental tole that he's not sure he can handle. Bakugou hadn't ever spent his points, and quite frankly, he didn't have very many in the first place considering that fact. (How it works on the first chapter) Kirishima was very happy as a kid. He was loved, had many friends, had the best parents a boy could ask for, and had a soulmate. That changed when his mom and dad died when he was 10. He then got adopted by an abusive family. He lived there for 3 years then they got so drunk they ran off a cliff. He then got adopted into a cristin family with 3 sisters. He found out he was gay a few months later. He came out that year and was abandoned. He was picked up by a lesbian couple that officially adopted him at 15. He lived there until he got into UA. Bakugou was abandoned for not having a soulmate at the age he was supposed to. He was soon adopted by Misuki(?) Bakugou his original mothers sister. Misuki soon married Inko Midoriya. This is the moment he realizes he's gay for Izuku. He got his soulmate around this time to but his eye was red, not green. He was also sad that Izuku had a red mixed with white eye. He was pissed so he started bullying him. He got into UA years later still having a crush on Deku.

His whole life Bakugo has been told one thing; heroes are corrupt, evil and self centred. They don't want to help people, just flaunt their power over the rest. And that always made sense to him. Until Kirishima. It couldn't be helped. Kiri was selfless, manly, powerful and kind. He looked out for his friends and only wanted the best. How could he be a hero? Kirishima was always wnteredted in the ocean and it's loving creatures,he always enjoyed swimming rebasing about mythical creatures like the mermaids, on his 17 brithday he got a job at the local aquarium the interview was normal and he was assigned the the first day to go out and bring in injured animals He soon got the hang of it and he went out on his own that's when he spot a Certain creature he had never seen before (I do not own BNHA or its characters also if you do not like boy x boy then this is not the sorry for you, you have been warned❗️)

First off. Mermaids exist. Kirishima is a Merman, an Alpha Merman. They are incredibly possessive and protective to their Omegas. Once a Alpha is seduced and wants to mate with an Omega, it will happen in a matter of days before the Alpha turns feral. Bakugou Katsuki is Half Mer-Half Human. His mother found love with a human years ago and the Mer race did not accept this, they banished her to the human world. The couple had two children, one boy and one girl. Bakugou fell in love with the sea at a young age and now works at a Mermaid research and housing facility a few miles off the coast of Japan. His sister is Yaoyorozu Momo. Their mother died after 13 years of being on the surface, their father died shortly after. Bakugou is 22 years old and he works in a huge (mostly submerged with a roof above water for helicopter landings and docking sites) research building. They take in injured Mermaids and nurse them back to health. A few of them choose to stay on for their lives.

Bakugou had always loved the water. When he was young, at any time of day you could find him by the beach, looking at shells and crabs or playing in the shallow water. His mother always encouraged him, despite how she lost her husband. His love of the sea never ceased, he dedicated his life to being a sailor like his father. Kirishima grew tired of the ocean floor, he grew tired of the same old creatures that swam by his cell, he grew tired of being alone. Others thought he was a monster, thought he would hurt them, thought he would snap. The red scales that ran from his hips to the tips of his fins, were a curse, a curse that got him stuck in a cage.
