The Undead (Vampires, ghosts), Magic (Witches, Wizards, Warlocks ((There is a difference) Necromancers), Shifters (Shapeshifters, were-animals), Woodlands (Faes, Elves) and Waters (Merfolk, water nymphs). The groups tended to stay away from each other, or they were fighting with one and other. This, this was the year they tried to change it.

When Ashton comes out to his parents they aren't very pleased. They basically disown him.
