I wrote a One-Shot in my One-Shot book and decided to turn it into a book. Race is a normal kid in Manhattan, New York, or mostly normal. Besides his bad past, he loves his family, brothers, and life. He likes baseball, soccer, dance, and much more. Spot just moved to the neighborhood and almost always has his boyfriend, Albert, over. Albert sees Race almost every time he's at Spot's house, but Spot has never seen Race. Until they meet, all because of a baseball and an unfair decision.

Racetrack Higgens has a soulmate. They had deep, beautiful brown eyes. They didn't have a good living situation, if the dark brown spots that covered his back and slashes over his ribs were anything to go by. They were ambidextrous, and they had been cutting neat lines into their arms since Race was 14. Spot Conlon had a soulmate. They had bright blue eyes and were perfect, Spot was convinced of that. What happens when a boy with a boyfriend falls for another boy? Or a boy falls in love with two boys at the same time? Or when that boyfriend falls in love with a nother boy and dosen't want to let go of what he already has. Short answer: Chaos. You want the long answer? Then read this story of broken hearts, messy love, stuborness and loneliness. This story follows Race, Albert, and Spot as they try to sort out feelings that none of them should be feeling. Things that just complicate this already crule world even further. How can they all be happy if the world doesn't even want them alive? Maybe they can't. Maybe they should just give up. Nothing else works for Newsies, so why should love. I DON'T OWN ANY OF THE NEWSIES OR THE SHOW!! ITS A DISNEY MOVIE. Most characters are from the Livesies. No one knows about Racetrack's past, and not many people bothered to ask, until he started babying scars. He refused to tell them, but when Spot, then Race himself, gets kidnapped one day, how will they find and save Race and Spot? He'd be forced to tell them his past.
