Mainly so Scott doesn't set him up on another terrible date, or hold it over Alex's head for the rest of his life. Regretfully agreeing is exactly what it ends up being. A regret. Devin never expected it to go that far, or for things to scratch their way up to the surface. The only way that she could deal with all these new feelings was to run. Which was exactly what she did. But that may have been an even bigger mistake. Slowly losing her mind, at first glance, didn't seem so bad. But when they haunt her day-in and night-out, losing her mind wasn't the only thing she began to lose.
