Por problemas económicos, Eren Jaeger acepta un trabajo nocturno como guardia en una prisión. Éste debe estar aislado de cualquier ser humano ya que no se encuentra bien mentalmente. Un día, su compañero con el que trabaja enferma, por lo que no asiste a trabajar y deja solo a Eren. Jaeger, con miedo e inseguridad, cierra la celda del violador para después apagar las luces y volver a su puesto. Para luego darse cuenta de que las llaves ya no estaban en su bolsillo... È troppo facile fingere sorrisi e lasciarsi andare a risate vuote.
