When Allex frees one of her sailors out of prison he tells her about a simple job he overheard. That job turned out to be far harder than they expected. Samantha is a simple barmaid from Iosis. No claim to fame, no adventures to be told. So when an attractive pirate captain swoops her off her feet, she pleas to come with. With reluctance the captain agrees, and her crew teaches the barmaid how to be of use. With Glory and Fortune beyond measuring on the horizon, Allex must decide between the fame and riches she's always wanted, or the woman she's rapidly falling in love with.

The final battle is over and things are starting to get back to normal. With Glimmer and Bow's big day coming up, Adora contemplates on inviting an old friend...
