I picked up the shotgun, and if I'm correct, The next shell is likely a blank. I shakily aimed the shotgun directly below my chin. I closed my eyes and teared up as I slowly squeezed the trigger. A click went off then I gasped in relief. I Immediately turned the shotgun away from me before slamming it to the table as I held my neck and started breathing fast and heavy.
