(Set in an AU right before the start of season 3.) The Cluster still poses a threat to earth. Steven and the crystal gems are finally ready to take it head-on before it destroys the planet. Fate, on the other hand, has different plans. On the day, they finally complete the drill, they are attacked by a strange girl with powers that rival that of the diamonds themselves and fail to stop her as she leaves Beach City in ruins. After this, the gems discover a dark secret that Rose kept from all of them, and an organization bent on eradicating all of gem kind.
