When Helena finds a phone on the night train, she decides to text the first number in the list of contacts in order to figure out who it belongs to. ***** Helena Santos hasn't had the easiest life. At twenty-one, she's the legal guardian of her teenage sister, in the final year of her nursing degree, and working night shifts at her small-town's local bar. And things get a lot more complicated when she finds a phone on the train home and decides to text the first number in the list of contacts, in hopes of tracking down its owner. That contact? Adam Bauer; the charismatic, sweet, and refreshingly honest older brother of the person who lost their phone. As the two continue talking, they can't ignore the chemistry and growing feelings between them, but life is never that simple. To make things work, Helena and Adam need to juggle a troubled sister, a meddlesome ex-boyfriend, and one fat lawsuit - all intent on keeping them apart. Hugot is a famous Filipino term that translates to "pull" or "draw." Hugot lines are very famous in the Philippines and most of it are very relatable. I would like to translate them in English so more people with different languages can understand it. To the readers, whatever it is you are going through, you are not alone. The quoted ones are not mine, so credit to the owners! Hangga't masakit pa, susulat ako.

[COMPLETED] •I'm Sam McClain and I am a stereotypical, tomboy. My dad works a lot, work trips which go on for months at times. My mom died recently and my dad ships me off to live with his work pal... who has a few sons. This is my story of how my life turned into hell, with a twist or maybe a first kiss? Who knows, in this house and with these people, anything can happen.• A/N don't diss the book at the start (first chapters are terrible). It gets better as it goes on.
