Zeeshan Malik, the star badminton player's career is on a decline, his stardom is receding and if nothing is done soon, it might just fade and become part of collection of stories of people who had potential to be great but never achieved greatness. He didn't want to be an easily forgettable short story but a grand tale that's spoken of for ages. If Akira Shah wasn't so focused on the singular goal of being a good, sufficient parent for her daughter, she would've definitely opened a club that discussed ways of extinction of the species named men. They were despicable. And when her little girl gets obsessed with a badminton player she saw on the television, Akira already found herself hating a person who she hadn't ever seen or encountered. But Akira had never been fate's favoured child and seemed like this time she was destined to be that tale of Zeeshan's life, one whose imprint no waves of ocean can wash away.

Could you fall in love with someone you never met, saw or spoke to? Sounds unlikely? *** Ella is an overworked college student whose only plan is to get through her college swiftly & proficiently. Sounds simple enough- but when she comes across a personal diary that sparks her curiosity, it is suddenly proven a little more than a speed bump. Ella is intrigued, maybe even enamored.... But definitely in denial. Hooked by the writer's endearing charm, sharp wit & beautiful penmanship, she begins an anonymous correspondence and with every confession, every single quip and joke, he wins her heart little by little while she loses herself in those letters. Even though she has a pile of college assignments demanding her time, Ella makes it her mission to search for the unknown writer. She defenestrates her logical plans & tortures herself by indulging in a nail-biting & probably a tad bit unhealthy mystery as she sets out on an expedition that would only come to an end when she finds the enigmatic scribbler. And that just might be the most terrifying project she has ever taken on. NOTE : It's a sequel to "Lost" and cannot be read as a standalone. ● ♡ ● "Are there any stars?" She inquires and he doesn't understand what she meant. There were no stars. "Can you see the moon up there?" She continues. There was no moon. "It's dark." Ayansh replies when he sees her waiting for his response. Inaaya turns her gaze to him, a peculiar look swimming in her eyes. "Exactly." Ayansh looks back at her, more confusion getting painted over his face. "It's dark. No stars, no moon, nothing." Inaaya adds solemnly. "That's how we're and that's how things between us stand. I trusted you and you broke it and that's the end. There's no hope or light here. All there ever will be around is despair." Ayansh listens to her and after a moment, carefully, takes a step ahead and a slight relief washes over him when she doesn't flinch. "Look up again." He whispers and after a little reluctance, she follows. "Surely it's dark," he says as she watches the sky ardently. "But it doesn't promise to be dark forever," he murmurs lowly and her heart thuds against her ribcage at the determination his voice held. "It's dark today but tomorrow? Maybe tomorrow, there will be stars and the moon too. Maybe tomorrow, you can see the light and the hope too. Maybe tomorrow, the despair would fade away." 🥀 That's the thing about soulmates; they always find a way to each other. ALWAYS. Ayansh Mehra and Inaaya Rai were a little naive, a little foolish in love but oh, they were so in love and it would be a shame if they couldn't find their way back to each other, to the arms they belong, to their HOME.
