All he ever knew could be gone in seconds if not with the blink of an eye as the attack on Jerusalem continued to be destroyed and burned to ashes, just like that fires roamed left and right claiming many in their paths, scream's of agony dressed in pain, the smoke.......... the screams............... the agonies............... suddenly all things went black........................

1 MONTH TO GET 1,000 READS 'How to: Get More Reads On Wattpad' was one of the first books I ever made on this account, and since then I have people coming to me every week asking how to boost their reads. You see there's no exact science behind it, but there sure are some things you can do to speed up the process. That's why I set myself the challenge of making a brand-spanking new account with the goal of achieving 1,000 reads on a new book and 100 followers...all in one month. [This challenge was carried out between 25.10.18 - 24.11.18.]

By day she's Lucy Tempest, civil engineer major. By night, or whenever she has time not studying, doing projects, or maintaining a social life... She's Lady Lightning, half of the dynamic duo the Storm Siblings. *** Following the legacy of their parents Captain Storm and Lady Frost, Lucy and her brother Lucas once shared the dream of ending crime in St. Jerome as the heroic Storm Siblings. But while Lucy grew out of childhood fantasies and chose to go to college in a new city, Luke couldn't seem to turn off his super hero mode. Lucy wants to find ways to fight evil without her mask on, but Luke seems to think that real heroes don't use city maps and roads to get the work done. The compromise? Lucy stretches her double life even thinner to keep her brother content and prove that heroes don't always wear masks. She'll battle book reports and baddies, navigate a budding romance, and build friendships with the most unlikely people. When a series of seemingly unrelated incidents spiral their city into chaos, Lucy's beliefs about who takes what identity in the fight between good vs. evil begin to waver. The villain she's been told to despise because of his mask suddenly becomes the one person who can help stop a madman from burning St. Jerome to the ground. Relationships forged in the black-and-white world of super heroism are tested as the world behind her own mask begins to appear more grey than she ever thought possible. As she confronts the demons hiding in the hearts of good and bad alike, Lucy must draw her line in the sand and fight for what she believes is right, even if it tears apart everything she worked so hard to create as Lady Lightning.

He was enchanted; a beautiful woman...not like his people...but not like the white skins either. Her skin was a rich tan, like the hide from his moccasins...her lips like roses...her clothing so foreign...and hair that was...different. He'd never seen anything like it before, and was entranced as he dared to stroke his hand against it. Even as she had fainted, her expression was still etched with pain, light whimpers escaping her lips. He couldn't leave her here to die...not like this... (A little disclaimer, none of this story was meant to be historically accurate and has been created with a romantic and maybe unrealistic viewpoint of an interracial romance set in the colonization period of the new world. I mean no offense to all racial groups with this story and only hope that even with my ignorance, it can be enjoyable. If it is well received, I'll write on ^^)

Former musician and twenty-something Phoebe Vermont hasn't played piano for years. Once a rising teenage star, in her "older years" she prefers to lead a performance-free, low-key existence, without theatrics. She plays things so safe that she's practically wrapped her life, and her heart, in cotton wool. She lives in her sister's London flat. She works as a barista, slinging coffee. She's had the same steady boyfriend, Ben, for almost a decade. But when Phoebe's job at the café disappears in a puff of smoke, she has no choice but to find a new job - and fast. Forced to make use of her qualifications from the Royal College of Music, she finally secures a position as a musician's assistant. As her life is thrown into upheaval, on the plus side, at least her new boss, Otto Arnold, is a famous pianist and gorgeous. But on the downside, after breaking his hand he's becoming increasingly difficult. He even insists Phoebe do the one thing she tries to avoid at all costs - play the piano. Phoebe's Performance is a heart-warming story of rediscovering the carefree inner child within, of learning to take a chance in love, and letting go.
