Have found the love of their life, Melissa and Katie live the married life they've always dreamed of; married at 22 and 21, they are now expecting a child after a year of fertility issues. Everything was going as planned but when Katie makes the bad decision to spend Christmas working three hours from home, the worst happens, she is caught in a car crash. The paramedics and firefighters takes one hour to get to the location and the car unfortunately explodes, there is no sign of Katie. After given the news that Katie must've died in the fire, Melissa has to move on without the love of her life. Tras una desesperada petición de ayuda Kara se encuentra finalmente con el Ser Inmortal (Goblin) de quien dicen que ella es la "Novia" sin saber que ese ser es nada más y nada menos que una mujer y no un hombre como ella creía.
