Eren is to stay there with Levi's team for a couple days to conduct professor Hanji's elaborately planned tests before heading to the forest. Your arriving as a backup squad (also know as the second best squad in the Scouts "Erwin's squad") for Team Levi the following evening along with Commander Erwin.
