Ein Jahr war vergangen, seit Eiji wieder zurück nach Japan gegangen war. Er war nun zwanzig und hatte in diesem Jahr so einiges vollbracht. Eiji hatte ein Buch geschrieben. Mit seinen zwanzig Jahren hatte er ein Buch verfasst, welches vorallem in Amerika sehr gut ankam. Jetzt hatte er eine Vorlesung und eine Signierung der Bücher bekannt gegeben. Er hatte vor, wieder nach Amerika zu gehen. Was könnte da schon schief gehen... Außer den Luchs zu treffen....

Zwei Jahre sind vergangen, seit Ash, Bones, Kong und Eiji nach Japan gezogen sind. Eiji hat ein weiteres Buch herausgebracht und seine drei Freunde haben es geschafft, anständige Jobs zu bekommen. Das ändert jedoch leider nichts daran, dass sie sich nicht an das friedliche Leben anpassen können. Eiji merkt, dass es so nicht weitergehen kann und beginnt an ihrem Leben zu zweifeln...
