If you have watched the show, you might know about the episode called "Pups Save Skye." This is a story that is somewhat like that episode but instead of Skye going missing, it is Chase who goes missing and the rest of the Paw Patrol have to find him before its too late. Before joining the pawpatrol Marshall was a stray on the streets of New York, working as a prostitute and taking drugs to deal with the pains of his occupation. One day Marshall (who at the time went by the name Spotty, a name his pimp called him) runs away from New York and ends up in Adventure Bay. After joining the pawpatrol Marhsall was given his new name by his friend (and crush) Chase. A year after joining the PawPatrol, Marshall's dormant magic emerges; upon this discovery Ryder intends to get Marshall the best Magic Teacher in the country, leading to a fatful meeting between Marshall and Nilrem, a member of the Seven deadly sins who has very similar eyes to Marshall.
