**Highest Rank: #16 in Historical Fiction 5/1/21** Between Two Worlds - A Novel of Ancient Rome Enid hates the Romans who enslaved her. Broken-hearted over the life she lost in Britain, she vows to bury her name and her past where the Redcrests can never reach it. As years of servitude pass, bitter resignation replaces her longing to return home. Then an unlikely friendship with a fellow outcast raises Enid out of her isolation, bringing both hope for the future and questions about the confusing God of the Christiani. Yet memories of her childhood haunt her, urging her to cling to her old identity, while the barriers of Roman society remain in the way of her deepest dreams. The peace she thought she made with the past is crumbling. But time is running out for Enid and those she loves. Danger threatens the household she serves as persecution stalks her few friends. She must decide if risking it all for the one she loves is worth giving up the world she knows. Even if it is a choice between life and death. Fabulous cover by my sweet friend, @FayLane! Amberleigh had been recklessly traveling between realms for years (accidentally, of course) unsure of how or why she continually found herself in a world called Erivale. Stuck in a not so great situation in the human realm, she escapes by literally falling into Erivale once again - although this time is different. A mysterious man traveling with a pack of wolves snatches her from the edge of death and claims to know her history. He also wants the bounty on her head. Leave it to the cold-blooded stranger to not so subtly break the news - Amberleigh was an Elf. Of course, it couldn't just stop there; she was an Elven princess. Cue adventures, sword battles, etiquette lessons, and magic. Amberleigh will need all the help she can get to make it through. The world of Erivale isn't as magical as it seems, and a mystery is unfolding - one that threatens Amberleigh's life and the freedoms of those around her. The Lost Princess is returning to Erivale, and no one, not even she, is ready for what is to come. Currently being edited. In a world where people with magic live hidden away in a forest, 15-year-old Destan must save his tribe from a war with the non-magical people, after accidentally having started it himself in the first place. --- The world has split in two; magicals living in packs, or tribes, doing what they can to survive. Non-magicals, or Inops, in complete ignorance of their powerful counterparts. Destan doesn't fit in with either society. Though his younger sister Julia lives with the Inops and does not have any powers, Destan can bend the atoms of any object to his will. His tribe, however, has made him an outcast for a horrible mistake he made when he was just a little boy. Lonely and desperate, Destan makes another mistake a decade later. By showing himself to Julia and her adoptive family of Inops, he makes himself a target - and by doing so, he makes his tribe a target. The costs pile up higher and higher as the quarrel between the two sides turns into a full-blown war. Can Destan make up for what he's done, before both factions turn on him? Book #1 in the Atrament series. Cover made by the amazing @infinitecovers.
