I laugh and nod, she was right, Garrett loved his burritos, I continue, "Thank you for the sleepovers, thank you for taking me to get ice cream, thank you for the trips to six flags, even though we all know that you are a big baby and can't ride any of the rides,- Hey now..." I stop reading to give her the eye and wipe away stray tears, she's grinning still, "Keep going!!" I nod and return to the note, "Thank you especially for hiding my green beans at Thanksgiving, Thank you for letting me call you "Uncle" even though you're not really my Uncle, but if you turn around we can change that-No way..." I stop reading, and luckily for me, the note had ended at that. I stare at the small girl in front of me my heart racing in my chest, her eyes sparkling with joy. "Turn around, Uncle Andrew." She whispers, pointing behind me, I turn around....

"Just make it back to us, please? Make it back to me." The haunting words Garrett had left in Andrew's phone still echo in Garrett's ears, and he prays that Andrew makes it back to him.
