A trough is the opposite of a crest, so the minimum or lowest point in a cycle. A point on the wave is a trough if the displacement of the medium. Son Ye Jin & Hyu Bin were at the crest of the waves; the height of their careers while holding each other's hand. They were having the time of their lives; they were in love with their life, their careers and--with each other. But a little too much of everything can be destructive too. A wave, after all, is a cycle. It hits the crest but after that, it meets the trough. They hit the rock bottom, together. Until it was too painful to still hold on. Years past and their lives changed. Will the waves finally reach the shore? Will they make it back to the crest together? Will they ever make it through?

They say the darkest hour is just before the dawn. Literally speaking, the darkest hour in the day is followed by dawn when light begins to shine through the horizon. Metaphorically speaking, the lowest point in life comes right before things get better. The phrase itself symbolizes hope and beauty in many ways, but what happens when the light that follows darkness means the end?
