Little did he know, once he had it all fixed, it would be back to the north side he had grown up in... but nothing would be the same.

She was broken, depressed because of his rejection. She was spiralling down, lost in her depressed state. He didn't only just break her heart he broken her soul and damaged her. Jughead has always been in love with Betty, but to insecure to admit his own feelings. But when he sees her new state he knows he has to intervene to help her get better.
