"I prefer to think of myself as in the transitional stage between childhood trauma and superpowers." Prepare yourself for the indescribable. The unexplainable. The ununderstandable. I'm not forewarning the plot of the story. I refer only to one single, important puzzle piece. And that piece is secret double-triple-quadruple-crossing SHIELD/HYDRA agent Daniella Atteberry. You must understand, if you are to partake in this insanity of an adventure, that the ability to comprehend this specific agent is a skill that none of the Avengers have yet mastered. Her complexity lies in her apparent simplicity. Her mystery lies in her blatant honesty. Her fashion sense relies on a red beanie. And the superheroes are so completely superscrewed. |Post Age of Ultron| |Part of The Lucky Ones Universe| |Book 1 of Dani's Adventure|

Daniella Atteberry finally has a family. An indestructible family, the most impenetrable individuals on Earth, the people no one can take away from her. For the first time in her life, she sleeps and is safe. But with a chemical mixture so dangerous, implosion is always a possibility. And with the Accords on the table and two of the strongest personalities on the hero scene on opposite sides, this family is about to face it's toughest challenge yet. War. Trapped in the middle, Daniella Atteberry must decide what's good and bad in a battle between two of the best and learn to live with the consequences. Her enduring and reliable motto might just be in dire need of an upgrade. After all: Heroes never lose. Until they do. |Avengers| |Part of The Lucky Ones Universe| |Sequel to Thinking Out Loud|

"Trouble is my middle name." ~ Lillian Nightshade is a metaphorical rock in SHIELD's boot, one that not only has a mouth snarkier and more sarcastic than the hypothetical (and entirely impossible) baby of Tony Stark and Deadpool, but has a certain knack for slipping from the authorities' grasp on a regular basis. She's arrogant, she's witty, she's satirical, she's immature and she's one of the best damn assassins in the industry. Steve Rogers is the hero every man wants to be. He has a strong sense of duty, honour, dignity and humility, with old fashioned, idealistic goals that would make the world a better place. Some - namely Stark - would call him a stick in the mud and make a mockery of him by pinning him with obscene names like 'Fourth of July Stripper' or 'Walking Flagpole', but in the end, he's America's sweetheart with a golden legacy that will last for generations. So it's only natural that the two complete opposites - who are also each other's enemies- to clash the moment they meet one another, yes? Filled with action, revenge, old adversaries, humour and of course the lovely drizzle of a bipolar romance, this is the story of how a narcissistic assassin falls for one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Her enemy. "My hands are stained with dirt. And they always will be." ~ Lillian Nightshade; assassin, Captain America's girlfriend, and number one magnet for bullsh*t and bad luck. For her entire life, she's been told what to, who to kill, who she is, and what she's meant to be. And now? Thanks to her history of daddy issues that could rival Shellhead's, she finds herself kidnapped by father of the year Loki Laufeyson and held hostage in a realm far from her favourite boy toy's reach. Asgard. Struggling with her own sense of identity whilst simultaneously trying to escape the clutches of a god with fabulously glorious hair, by the time Lillian finds herself returning to the world she knows, she begins to notice a suspicious amount of change within it. HYDRA apparently died with the Red Skull, SHIELD hasn't fallen, the battle of Braga never went down, and Steve Rogers doesn't seem to remember her. It's almost as if she's... Gone back in time? Between balancing the timeline, trying not to spoil the future, righting wrongs committed the first time around and dealing with a butt tonne of family drama, Lillian simply can't catch a break from all the bad luck she attracts. Throw a familiar metal armed World War II soldier turned HYDRA weapon into the mix, and the Nightingale might just be in over her head. In spite of it all, will the two complete opposites, Steve and Lillian, find their way to each other's lives once again? Or is their romance lost, a faded memory stored away for rainy days? For she may have their love to light the way, but where there is light, there will always be its older sibling. Darkness. BOOK TWO OF THE NIGHTINGALE CHRONICLES **I obviously don't own any Marvel or comic characters. I only half of the plot, Lillian Nightshade, Samuel Hemmings and a few other characters that appear later on in the book. All other rights are reserved to Marvel and DC comics.**

"I'm tired of this anger, but this anger never tires." ~ Lillian "the Nightingale" Nightshade; daughter of Loki, assassin, and Avenger (trainee). No longer is she a metaphorical rock in SHIELD's boot, but rather the boots of HYDRA and numerous other enemies of the Avengers. The girlfriend of her favourite boy toy Captain Crunch - otherwise known as Steven Grant Rogers - finally has everything she could've possibly ever wanted. Dysfunctional but irreplaceable family, moronic yet endearing friends, and a righteous Boy Scout boyfriend. What more could a snarky, sarcastic assassin possibly need? No longer does she feel despaired, or broken, or used, or controlled. She wears her battles, both won and lost, proudly on her skin, her very own armour against all the villains the galaxy has to throw at her. Never again did she think, that heroes rather than villains, would be the ones to cut underneath that very armour. A murderous male Siri on his period, a scarlet bitch who almost made her murder the man she loves, a cocky speedster flirting with her baby sister, and the return of those goddamn stones that she wants nothing to do with, end up being the least of her problems. Enemies, she knows. Enemies, she can fight without an ounce of remorse. But choosing to fight either her best friend or the love of her life? That's a battle Lillian Nightshade knows she can't win, even if she wanted to. BOOK THREE OF THE NIGHTINGALE CHRONICLES SET DURING AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON - CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR ** I do not own any Marvel or comic characters. I only own Lillian and Adelaide Nightshade, Samuel Hemmings, Victoria Kingsley, Estelle Aveline and some other characters that may appear later on in the story. The rest of the rights are reserved to Marvel comics.**

"Hello little girl what are you doing out in the street... all alone." A greasy looking stranger mutters as I walk by. He makes the mistake of grabbing my arm. "If I were you I would let go while you still can..." I warn the stranger but of course, he ignores me and pulls me closer to him. I have had enough, as I feel slight fear rush through my veins, so I push him back with a forceful wind. "I warned you," I say but then the idiot stands back up. Some people just don't know when to stay down. I summon lightning and make it strike the ground a couple inches to the right of where he is standing. He stumbles back so I use the wind to tangle him in the mossy vine-things on the fence behind him."W-who are y-you!" He stutters fearfully. "Me? Why I'm the controller of thunder and lightning, the wind and rain. I make tsunamis roll and tornados blow. I make the mists rise and the storms rage, you see... they call me... Hurricane." I reply mysteriously before creating a thick, misty fog and making my escape. The full prologue is in the book, please read :)

Morgana Stocking was loving and living life to the full. Her parents were rich business people and she had her own make-up products. She didn't see life as it truly was, only what money could buy. That was until she was brutally kidnapped by Hydra and turned into their newest weapon. Months of solidarity confinement turned the girl into a monster, broke the light and turned it into darkness, burned the spirit and turned it into ashes. Now she serves as the Winter Soldier's partner. With wings as black as coal and a face as hard as stone, will this brainwashed, broken girl ever find out what truly happened to her as she starts to question? Or will the Avengers find a way to get the girl before her life is totally ruined beyond repair? #43 in Avengers - 09/05/2018 #870 in Teen fiction - 09/05/2018 All rights go to Marvel. I have tried to make this as realistic as possible, so I have included all the actions and speech from the movies that I think ties in with this story. If you have watched the movies, you'll understand what parts are mine and what parts are the Marvel writers. If you haven't watched the movies, I suggest you do. The dialogue and actions are currently from 'Captain America : Winter Soldier' and 'Avengers : Age of Ultron'. All my own characters are easy to tell :) Also, if I have used your image from Tumblr within my book or front cover (in front cover only the girl and arm), please let me know so I can give you a shoutout. I've tried to get in contact but I can't figure it out. Ty!
