l'm a black woman who is proud to have melanin flowing through her veins. The purpose of this book is not to scream that black lives matter, which they do but rather I'm here to educate black women on their true identity and worth. Here is a compilation of energetic, black-spirited poems and writings from black authors to our often forgotten black readers. Sip your chocolate and let these words color your mind. Literally.

This is a book that names victims of police brutality, whether their cases have been justified or not. This is my way of supporting Black Lives Matter. I don't care if 1 person sees this or 1 million people see it. What matters is that I helped to spread information during the time we need it most. If you are reading this story, thank you and please remember these people in our fight for equality.

Kendra vows to never fall for him because after all he's just another white boy and to her, that's an insult to her father's memory.

Dear Black Boys, SUPRISE! We are not all like that, matter of fact we are better than that stereotype you continue to put us on. We are not bitter, we are not loud, and we are not stupid. We are hardworking, ambitious, and smart. Dear Black Men, the more you go around saying "white woman are better" or "black woman have an attitude all the time", makes this generations black boys think they not only want a white woman, but need a white woman. It's okay to go around and try some milk with your coffee but it's not okay to disrespect us, especially when your mother is black.
