“Fiction has been maligned for centuries as being "false," "untrue," yet good fiction provides more truth about the world, about life, and even about the reader, than can be found in non-fiction.” With that said, this is a collection of fictional short stories, inspired by a single picture. All are original works. Some are based of things going on in my life or other's around me. I draw from experiences and thoughts that aren't necessarily the best, but I guess that's what makes me a writer.

Once upon a time (2014, actually), there was a girl like no other (not really; she was just socially awkward). Whimsical (to herself), brilliant (but lazy), astute (but more on the keep-it-to-myself side) and delightfully charming (in her mind), she was sought after by many (in her fantasies), not only for romantic matters (haha never.), but also for intellectual and scholastic dealings (do I even have to say something about this?). I know, right? Too many brackets. Well, that's because our actual feelings are always enclosed within brackets. Our real lives are caged in brackets. Our honest thoughts are trapped between brackets. Blew your mind away, huh? No? Well, whatever. Now, you have two choices. You can live your bracketed lives and act like this never happened, or you can read about how the aforementioned female makes the brackets that trap her within boundaries transform into her bona fide and better life through the endearing story I write about it. I know what you lazy muffins (or do you prefer cupcakes? Yeah. Definitely cupcakes.) are going to choose (honestly, I would do the same). So, read on and may the adventure (nah) of a lifetime (seriously? No.) begin (FINALLY).
