The world as we knew it was falling into ruin. Governments in shambles, whole countries destroyed, and the extreme radiation a double edged sword. When only an estimated 47% of the population survived bombings, about half of them died from radiation poisoning or mutated into inane monsters who devoured anything moving. A handful of people who experienced mutations, however, lived on as functioning humans with uncanny abilities.
