Shadow thought that Maria was dead, but in reality she almost did, and so her grandfather changed her somehow into a new living breathing lifeform, so she may live, but the process takes about 50 years before she may awake. Will Shadow see Maria again or would he not recognize her as a hedgehog? I hope you like my theory on how Maria comes back to life !!!!
