I HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED MYSELF WHAT DEPRESSION IS LIKE. But- I do have friends. Multiple ones. And classmates. And strangers. Some have gone to mental hospitals. Some have begged me to stay with them all night so that I can try to help them hold on to something- anything. One committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. And I can't sit and watch another person in this messed up world do that to themselves. So if you're the one, or have head others say things like: "Why doesn't he just stop?" "It's creepy" "They're lying" "You're just weak" "I bet she's just looking for attention" Then this is for you. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States and the 3rd leading cause of death for teenagers. Chances are, you will meet someone who dies by suicide. Chances are, you probably have already. This is to them, to you who hopefully prevents that from happening. Because it's a tragedy. It's a fucking tragedy. And that could end here. With us. ---------------- But be ware. DEPRESSION is NOT for the FAINT HEARTED.

When Champion ended, Legend fans were left in tears because of its bitter-sweet ending. Right? Most of us wanted the story to continue to know what happened when June and Day crossed paths ten years later. Didn't you? So read on to find out!!!

NOTE: As of 2022 (I can't believe I wrote this almost 10 years ago) I am letting this go. Thanks for joining me! Sets after Marie Lu's final book in the "Legend" trilogy, after the events of "Champion". Since "Legend" is my favorite trilogy, I couldn't stand to not have more. This is a fan's look into the ongoing lives of our beloved characters, as you can not accept that their journey will end at the end of Champion. No, their story is continued, but not confined by ink and paper. I hope others will feel just a sliver of content, peacefulness to put our hearts at ease. A direction in which their lives might go, until our worlds collide again. All characters go to Marie Lu, and if you like it, thank her for creating such a wonderful beginning: As Legend will never truly end.

Based on the Legend trilogy with the characters Day and June switched places. Although they still have the same family. Takes place in the future. This story has lots of deaths and very little, but some swearing. PROLOGUE -"Why can't we stop them from doing this to us? It's horrible. We shouldn't be forced to do this." -"No one has ever tried. They have better technology and they could kill us in a matter of minutes." -"But can't we try?" -"Trying would be like sacrificing ourselves." -"We could team up with a lot of people. The best fighters we can find. Everyone except the rich thinks the same as we do and there's more people in the Lake sector, the biggest poor sector, than in all the other sectors combined. They've got awesome survival skills since the only people who help them are other people from the Lake sector that need help too. If we find too many, they couldn't stop us." -"Believe me, they could and they would. And once they have us, all we can expect is a life of torture with no mercy." Anger flashes across her face. -"But isn't that what we already have?! A life of torture with no mercy. It's worth it. We should try." A sly smile coils on his face. -"You're right. We should try. Just quotes. Sad, inspiring, books, anything. Everything. Quotes. Because, sometimes, I just read a line and it is so beautiful that it lifts me into heaven. Or it makes me ponder for hours. Or makes me crave for more of its kind. Or makes me laugh, cry. Or numbs me. Whatever it may be, I cherish the feeling. The thoughts of humans like myself. I share these, for the fact that it is worth it and every person should know it. They leave me with every kind of feeling imaginable. I hope these do the same to you.
