He hung up the phone and I called back, leaving him a voicemail. I adopted Charlie 2 years ago when Juliet and I got married. Juliet wanted a broken child, she wanted to fix Charlie. She fell in love with her as soon as we met her, and the bond my wife and daughter has created was beautiful. She is only 17 years old, she has a full life ahead of her.
