In one of the rehab clinics, she meets that guy and falls for him, but keeps working as Gabriel's assistant. Then one day, Gabriel finds out a few things, which are worrying him a lot and that's where the story starts. No miraculous! This story starts shortly after Miracle Queen, I just let those three years pass in between, like it should've been by now. (In fact, if Marinette's Zodiac is really the snake, she must've been born in 2001, and would be 18 right now, but let's pretend, it was still 2017 when miracle Queen took place.)
