After years of nothing, chaos broke in Ninjago City. Citizens have mysteriously gone missing, leaving the ninja in confusion. Weeks passed of this crisis, making the saviors feel useless, not being able to find a lead. Police have scouted the streets day in, day out, and alongside the ninja who traveled in shadows and atop rooftops. Their last adventure seemed to create consequences they never thought would snowball into something big. As a new force arises, the ninja struggle to keep up with the problems caused by their successful mission before, and the trouble being created by yet another villain.

Two half-demon siblings, trying to find the parents they lost long ago. A bubbly vampire raised by humans, trying to find his birth clan. A recently-turned werewolf desperately trying to hide his monstrous secret from his father. A soft-spoken ghost longing to figure out his mysterious past. Five young monsters all come into contact with the eccentric Garmadon family, who formed an organization dedicated to protecting monsterkind. The youngest in the family, Lloyd, seems to have a secret of his own, as he quickly bonds with the others, more than his own family. As mysteries unfold and relationships are strengthened among the teens, they begin to understand one important detail; no freak is alone in this twisted world. ((cover will be changed later lol))

Cinder just hopes to never see the obnoxious guy again. Too bad Gem is such a hopeless romantic that he searches the entire country for his mysterious guest...and winds up enlisting Cinder's help as a shoemaker to find the owner of the one shoe he kept from his crush? The pay is good, but for how long can Cinder hide his identity while pretending to help the bratty Gem? And what happens when the two start finding common ground after all? At this rate it won't be long until Cinder is hard pressed for his sanity...
