This is a 'Modern Love Story' fanfiction based on Eternal Love of Dream drama series/Ten Miles Pillow Book Novel, written by Tang Qi Gong Zi. The storyline would be similar to the drama but given with a modern twist. The novel will be set in a modern day setting, with no magic/powers involved. In my re-imagined story, I am attempting to give our beloved leads a genuine chance at love with their own thoughts, behaviors, and desires. Granted, life is full of misunderstandings, obstacles and karma. Donghua learns that being a heartless god has its consequences. Having been careless and inconsiderate with the hearts of those who had fawned over him, he'll find it difficult to fulfill his. At its very core, this is a character-driven story about healing from trauma and the growth of a deep and meaningful friendship. Zhe Yan, Mo Yuan, Bai Zhen, Bai Qian, Ye Hua, Lian Song, Si Ming and Zhong Lin will make appearances, plus others from Eternal Love and ELOD. I really wished there was a sequel to this book/drama. So this a Fan Fic of the two lovebirds with a twist after the deathly fight with Miao Luo. What will happened after they wake up? Happy ending? Feng Jiu started to think and finally decided it was time to return home. As they were catching up there was a banquet being held at the nine palace for the Heavenly Lord's birthday. There she just happens to run into Donghua Dijun (he hasn't heard that she has returned). Ye Hua and Bai Qian are already married but Ye Hua still hasn't succeeded the throne yet. This will include a very serious Feng Jiu and she will be very independent and powerful, but she will be a little childish when she is around her loved ones. She also has wings like Maleficent, and she will be a nine tailed phoenix fox. she can not hide her wings in human or fox form. Plus she will be able to turn into a phoenix.
