One day, a kind ghoul saw a human child walking around in the 13th Ward looking for a place to stay. The ghoul, of course, wouldn't want to let her die. So he, being the kind ghoul he is, took her in. Unfortunately, the CCG (who appears to be hunting the ghoul) found their whereabouts and prisoned them in the Cochlea. Every day, the ghoul would be tortured so that he would spill information about his association. The ghoul was loyal to his association, so he kept quiet. One day, the CCG couldn't take it anymore and so they did an experiment on the human child. When they told (more like showed) about what happened to the human child, the ghoul lost control of his sanity and killed all the investigators who were keeping him and the child prisoners. When he regained sanity, he took the child to a safe place and left her in the hands of human loving ghouls. That child was soon known as Phoenix. Or to be precise, Oomori Y/N ----- I don't own Tokyo Ghoul, all rights belong to the respected author of Tokyo Ghoul

He was outspoken, pessimistic, and annoyingly honest. She was strange, careless, and a bit unorthodox. But, they both had a common intent: staying alive.

Brian Walker, the IT guy at a small government contractor, has two problems. First, he hasn't had his morning coffee, and second, a strange voice in his head claims an alien invasion is underway. Solving the least pressing of the two should be pretty simple, but that leaves the coffee issue to deal with! Still, what if that voice is telling the truth? Brian's lunch buddy, Dale, thinks so-but then, he also thinks the government has been putting mind control drugs in the water supply. After deciding to trust the voice in his head, all he needs is a first-rate team to face off against the aliens. He ends up with a Princess Bride fanatic (with eyes for him), a conspiracy theorist, and a cosplayer. Follow Brian and his ill-equipped band of office workers, as they try to save the world from well-meaning aliens that have finally lost patience waiting for the human race to kill itself off.
