Azul Cross is tired of her life slowly crashing down around her, so she does something one night that causes her life to forever change. She meets a man wearing a red cape and another with thick, black glasses. Her life turns unfortunate as the past comes back to haunt her and she tries everything in her power to bury it.

Maisie is unlucky in love. Not that she considers herself special, or anything - who hasn't been disappointed in relationships time and time and time again? The one thing that always seems to get her through is the handsome, awkward, perfect Mr. Darcy. Sure, he's fictional, but he's never let her down. Until, that is, she decides to find him in real life.

This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.
