Emily Prentiss went out with some friends to have fun since she broke up with her longtime boyfriend. Jennifer Jareau goes out with her friends to have some fun since they don't get to do that often with their job. What happens when Emily meets JJ, and they end up kissing each other?

Emily Prentiss and Jennifer Jareau have always been just friends, great frends. But one drunken night reveals feelings that they didn't know they had for each other. They try to forget about it and push it away, ignoring each other. Hoping that these thoughts and feelings would go away. But their unexpected love ends up being stronger than they thought.

*Trigger warning: abuse mentioned throughout the story* Emily and JJ always had a thing while working in the BAU. Even though Emily has a boyfriend who she's been with for a year, she's secretly in love with JJ and she may feel the same way. There's only one thing that JJ doesn't know, inside, Emily feels broken because her boyfriend, Josh, abuses her. One day, JJ notices the scars, cuts, and bruises on Emily and starts to get worried. Josh soon disappears and kidnaps Emily and also JJ for getting in between them.

JJ thought she loved Will, but after he becomes verbally and sometimes physically abusive, they get a divorce. Emily being the friend she is, helps her through this tough time, but finds herself getting in too deep once JJ puts herself in danger. After JJ recovers, her eyes are opened to a whole new idea, her and Emily. {tw- depression, anxiety, self-harm, abuse, suicide, etc.}
