She'd never met a hunter her age before. She hadn't met many hunters at all. Over the course of a week and a half the two grew close, bonding over the fact they both grew up hunting. Dean had even introduced her to his little brother Sam. When John came back from his hunt Dean did something Alexis had least expected. He asked of she could stay with them, seeing she had no where else to go. John pitied her and let her tag along. Now, almost thirteen years later dean and Alexis are still best friends. They still hunt together. And when John goes missing Alexis is determined to help Dean find his father. Dean and Alexis break into Sams college apartment in hopes of convincing him to help them. Alexis also has to figure out what these weird dizzy spells she keeps getting are. What happens when she starts to think they are more than just dizzy spells? All while trying to help Dean with hell haunting him. She knows it is, even if he won't tell her. Its battle after battle, and she knows she can't lose hope. She can't let go so easily. They'd been through so much, everything would be okay. It had to be. And all the while she's battling her mother, who she recently connected with. Alexis us sure her mothers intentions aren't pure, but she offered something Alexis couldn't turn down. Alexis also has been making some questionable decisions in the name of revenge and love. Her heartbreak was healing now that Dean was back, but things seemed to be slowly shattering all over again. She can't let go. She has to stay strong. Or who knows what she'll lose.

It had been one year since Alexis had been in the hunting world. One year since Sam had pushed Lucifer back into the pit and stopped the apocalypse. One year since she and Dean had began living a normal life. Alexis has adjusted. She even liked living like this, but there was still a part of her that missed the life she'd left behind. And as the days went on the part grew smaller and smaller. Alexis knew that this new life she lead was better for her and her family. So she'd buried all those feelings about hunting, they were bad anyway. Then one day, one year later Alexis started noticing little things being off, evidence pointing to something supernatural going on way too close to home. It leads both her and Dean to finding Sam and some other hunters that Alexis didn't know whether she should trust or not. And just like that she was pulled back into hunting.
