Cris, a 'companion,' has been meeting up with Eryk, who just happens to be the High Justice for the Church of Fedum, god of truth. This is a short story that came from a flash-fiction prompt of cop/criminal. My first patron gave it to me, and my 1k word vignette grew up into a proper short story.
