It's eighth year at Hogwarts for those students who've chosen to come back. Over the course of several months, Harry and Draco have managed to become close friends. Their friends are entirely certain that they ought to be much, much more and decide to just... help things along.

Sometimes a witch or wizards magical signature is so completely incompatible with another that they repel one another like magnets. On the other hand, if two magical signatures mesh well together, well there are no stronger relationships in all the world. In a sample of a thousand people, the average witch or wizard will be slightly repelled by four or five people and strongly repelled by only one, at the most. The opposite is true for attraction. But Harry Potter can't kiss anyone at all.

Draco is walking the corridors of Hogwarts at some ridiculously late hour. He runs into none other than Harry Potter himself. A situation occurs leaving both boys hexed. When one of them feels an emotion, so does the other. They are emotionally linked. (Story is not edited so spelling mistakes may occur)

When an incident causes the Slytherin dorm rooms to be destroyed, Draco Malfoy and his fellow Slytherins are temporarily placed in the other three Houses. And, as luck, or misfortune in this case, should have it, Draco just so happens to be placed in Gryffindor; home of the one and only Harry Potter. Can he survive living along side his worst enemy? Note: This takes place in an alternate timeline. So if some characters who should be dead are still alive, that's why.

One summer night, Harry goes to the beach to find no one other than Draco Lucius Malfoy. Confused, Harry follows the boy and watches him, finding out what may be Draco's deepest, darkest secret.

"You know what I think?" Harry leaned across the table. "I think you're afraid. You don't take risks like us Gryffindors." He scoffed. "Please, you Gryffindors are all wand-waving and no spell." Harry grinned, settling back into his seat. "Not me. I always follow through." "Prove it." Harry stood up and walked around the table. He leaned over Draco, one hand no his chair and the other on the table. Their faces were a mere inch apart, so close that Draco could see flecks of brown in his emerald eyes. "I don't see any follow-through," Draco taunted. And then Harry kissed him. Harry's hands fell to his shoulders so quickly that Draco teetered on his seat. Draco reached up and grabbed Harry's shirt in an attempt to catch his balance which resulted in the two boys falling to the ground with Harry on top. Harry's cheeks were red with embarrassment as he tried to get up. All he managed to do was knee Draco in the leg. Draco put his hands on Harry's hips. "Stop. Let me." In one fluid motion, Draco flipped them around so he was kneeling above Harry. "And for future reference," Draco smirked, bringing his lips down to brush against his. "I'm always on top."
