For as long as the cosmos have existed, Night and Day have been hopelessly in love. They've given chase to one another for millennium after millennium. A never ending orbit around our humble planet filled with the spectators of this grand romance. Their drama is our sunlight, our moonlight. Their sorrow is our wakefulness, and our peaceful rest. So, what is it? What is it about Night that keeps Day running? What is it about Day that makes Night never slow? Well...

Blue groaned in frustration. He just wasn't getting it. That monster is in a league of its own. In all the 148 wild Pokémon Blue had captured, nothing had even compared to this. Nothing could have prepared him for the brutality that this Pokémon displayed. Red had no idea what he was getting himself into. Somehow, even after reading the information from the diary in the Pokémon Mansion and seeing Blue so badly injured hadn't swayed him in the slightest. That's just how Red was, though. Too brave and ambitious for his own good.

The night sky is a truly beautiful thing. I know I am not alone in thinking this. Many people are drawn to it, and each individual has their own reason. Some are infatuated by its diversity, others by its mystery, or its overwhelming vastness. Everyone has their own perception of the magnificent celestial display. Yes, many are inspired by the stars, but, as odd as it may be, my reason for setting out for the highest hilltop every night, with telescope in hand, is something I treasure. My reason may seem incredibly ludicrous and silly to most, and I wouldn't blame them for feeling that way. The reason I stargaze is not to watch all the different stars, but to watch just one star: The Brightest Star
