Piper McLean's life isn't easy. As being the only deaf person in a family, she knew that she'd have to woman-up and take every punch that life has to offer with a huge smile. Rather than attending a school for the deaf and mute, she insisted on studying at a school with the hearing. She was fearless, she didn't care about what anyone would think, and that's what a lot of people love about her. Life wasn't a piece of cake, and luck was hard to get, but she sure loved a challenge. Jason Grace is actually a crippling mess. Sure, he may be the captain of the football team and one of the most popular people at their school, but that was just a mask, a disguise-that wasn't really him. In total seriousness, he doesn't know who the real Jason is, aside from the fact that he's actually a total scaredy cat when it comes to everything else he isn't familiar of. He contains a lot of fears, but the biggest fear he possesses is the fear of being abandoned, just like what his parents did when he was young. Life isn't a piece if cake, and luck was hard to get, so he usually hides behind a rock, he never liked life's challenges. The two polar opposites are then brought together during a nasty food fight at a summer camp located at Long Island, New York. With one who's ready to challenge dragons and one who is ready to run and hide under a bush, how will the tale go? It would be as....as luck would have it, then. 9AM. Wake up. 10AM. Eat. 11AM. Curse lungs for not being good lungs. 12NN. Eat. 1PM. Read a book. 3PM. Enviously look out of the window to see the usual group of friends hang out. 4PM. Decrease life further by shitting on lungs through cigarettes. 6PM. Curse (again) life and it's doucheyness. 7PM. Eat. 8PM. Sleep. Repeat. Frank Zhang is dead. Well, specifically, dying, but still dead, considering that he will be in three months. As the remaining days of his life become thinner and thinner, he is left to face his end with a monotonous routine (often filled with fits of rage here and there) and a three month supply of Cheetos. But once a wild-haired stranger with golden eyes disrupts his routine, and invade his dreams, will Frank be willing to put everything on hold?

His moody demeanor drives people away from him, scared that they too might turn into someone like him. Two different people with two different personalities. One who has his future written on a calendar, and one who doesn't even own a calendar at all. The Fates are playing a new kind of game, and that game includes them.

Annabeth Chase hates speaking. Ever since an unfortunate incident when she was thirteen, she had been led on to a life filled with silence. She had completely shut off her ability to speak in front of other people, only being able to speak through her pen and notebook. Percy Jackson is too egotistic. He cheats, he steals, and he lies, and is basically the spawn of the devil. He's too noisy, and is a bad influence to whoever gets involved with him. So let's just get to the point. Life is crap, so go along with it.

Calypso spent most of her life by herself. Be it social gatherings, concerts, cinemas-she was always alone. Ever since her beloved father was arrested for an unknown reason, leaving her in the custody of her adoptive parents, she didn't find any reason to trust anyone. Anyone aside from Leo Valdez, that is. Leo and Calypso had been friends since they were in their diapers, always there for each others' backs, through the good and the bad, through thick and thin. They were basically inseparable, until Leo left without a trace one night after his mother's death. Calypso then is left to fend for herself, against the harsh laws of reality. With no one to turn to, Calypso confides in her journal, which she affectionately refers to "Leo" and writes about her day to day life, as a coping mechanism for her loneliness after her only friend's disappearance.
