Izzy has only ever been interested in flings and one night stands, but when Simon brings Clary into the group Izzy finds herself questioning her beliefs about love. Jace and Simon go through the stresses and joys of being engaged. Meanwhile Alec's abusive ex Jonathan wants Alec back and will do anything to get Alec.

Clary proposes an unorthodox method to get free cake.

One change to a story, and it creates a ripple effect, altering each event just enough to build up, until the entire ending is different. (Regular updates) This is basically an AU where Isabelle is the one on duty when Clary is attacked by the demon, and this story is essentially about the domino effect that takes place just because of that small difference, - how they spend more time together because it's Izzy she wakes up to, not Jace, how they become friends from working missions together, how Jace starts talking to someone else, and the impact that has on the story.
