An amnesiac Mii named Janice will be forever changed when the Dark Lord, Adiran, invades her peaceful world and begins stealing the faces of the citizens! With the help of a guardian spirit, Janice begins a fateful journey to defeat the Dark Lord and save Miitopia. Will she be able to see the light and rescue the lost faces? Or is it a lost cause?

It has been two weeks since the defeat of the Dark Lord, but already there is a new threat to Miitopia: The Shadow Queen Kojima, who seeks to awaken The Eternal, about which Janice is not told anything. On top of that, Kojima strikes Janice's heart with a sword of darkness, causing her to see odd visions. What do those visions mean? Can they defeat Kojima? Where is the guardian spirit? And what does all of this have to do with Janice?

After many weeks, Miitopia has (somewhat) gone back to normal. However, Janice still lives, and with her remains her other half. With some of their allies missing, the guardian spirit silent, and the world more ruined than not, the heroes will need to recover the other New Elites and gather the power they need to defeat The Eternal. And as Janice watches from the sidelines, she must learn to see things about her other self in a new way as echoes of the past begin to resurface...
