That pic of Mel playing with the dinosaurs gave me an idea for a little drabble. No plot here, just an excuse to write about Mel being cute.

It's meant for her and her alone, and it has one job to do. Miss Luthor is about to be a milestone. <><> The fic that starts off sounding like it's yet another fic about someone trying to kill Lena, but absolutely no one tries to kill Lena in this fic. Lots of happily ever after in this fic because we all need it right now.

Nervous, Kara reaches for Alex to help her through the biggest challenge she's ever faced. Alex reminds her sister that Kara already knows how to handle this, to look inside herself, but that Alex will be right by her side. J'onn shows up to lend his steadying arm and support. Kara steps out, and her whole life is about to change...for the better.

When Lena gets caught in the rain, she meets a jogger who is reveling in this summer downpour. They talk, smile, laugh, and walk in the rain for a while together. Lena begins to see the world differently, and it's a world she'd like to keep seeing with Kara Danvers by her side.

L-Corp hosts a summer festival where Lena ends up judging the eating contest, much to her dismay. That is until one particularly attractive, blonde competitor shows up to sweep the contest, and Lena, off their feet.

Lena posting pictures on Instagram tagged to the FBI agent who is watching her piques the interest of the actual FBI. Things quickly go from business to pleasure as things heat up.
