Listen. If you don't want a really, really long story full of angst and romance, skip this one. It's rare for me to not write a fic in one go, but this one took me two days to bash out. I have no idea why; the idea teased me, and it just... went in a direction I didn't expect. I borrow from the Witcher universe/games as always, but I also make shit up, so not canon, and I do refer to Jaskier as Julian in this fic because it makes sense. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
